I don't live in Auckland, can you still help me?

Please feel free to contact us directly and we can discuss what we can do to assist you. We may be able to help remotely.  I we can usually advise and provide reliable referrals.

Can I get a replacement vehicle when my car is being serviced?

This depends on your service provider. In most cases New car or Major MTA service departments have a certain number of loan cars available.  However you must book them well in advance.  In some casesthere may be a small service charge incurred.  It is wise to return the car with at least as much petrol in it as when you picked it up.

I am thinking of downsizing my car. Are you able to help me sell my old one?

If you live in Auckland we would aske you to visit our home office in Ellerslie to obtain an estimate of value.  Once we have established the value of your vehicle and understand your specific needs we are usually able to assist.

How much does Gold Card Auto Services charge for its services?

That is one of those “How long is a peice of string” questions.
Sometimes our services can put extra money in your pocket.  Sometimes we can save you money.  Sometimes there are costs for services needed.  What we can guarantee is that you will always get value in the form of safety, savings and peace of mind.
Aside from short free phone consultations we charge a $150 fee that covers the first hour and $99 per hour for time in excess of the initial hour.

Do you provide reminders on registration, insurance and servicing.

Your registration reminder comes automatically from N.Z. Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) with plenty of time to renew.

 Insurance renewal reminders would also come direct from your current Insurance company. However we could contract to do a comparison of  premium and excess costs for you for a nominal fee.

 Servicing reminders would come from your current workshop provided they have such a  computerized programme on site.

Otherwise make a diary note or just keep an eye on the service sticker and your current speedo reading.

Does GCAS provide discounts on car service and tyres?

No sorry we don’t provide discounts directly. Any discounts are between you provider of the service or product.  However we are happy to recommend service providers who we know will give you the best value on what you require.
